Philip Reinagle [1749-1833] was an English animal, landscape, and botanical painter. He mostly painted portraits until 1785, when he abandoned the monotomous work of producing replicas of royal portraits for animal painting. Reinagle was mostly known for his representation of sporting dogs, birds, and hunted game, although after 1787 he motly exhibited landscapes.
